Seasonal Bedding Plants, Hanging Basket Plants & Patio Colour
Bedding plants are one of the easiest ways to bring colour into your garden, whether you’re filling borders, brightening up pots, planting patio containers or putting together hanging baskets. At Old Oak Farm Nurseries, we grow and sell a wide range of seasonal bedding plants, with plenty of choice through spring and summer.
You can keep things simple with a single colour scheme, mix bright bedding plants for a full summer display, or choose trailing and upright plants together for a fuller-looking basket or container. If you’re not sure what will work best together, just ask when you visit and we’ll help you choose plants that suit the space.
Spring Bedding
We grow and sell spring bedding plants including Polyanthus, Primroses, Pansies and Violas. These are ideal for adding colour after winter and work well in pots, containers, borders and spring displays.
Summer Bedding
For summer colour, we stock a wide range of pack bedding including Alyssum, Lobelia, Begonias, Geraniums, Marigolds, Salvia and Impatiens. These can be used in beds, borders, pots and containers to add colour throughout the warmer months.
We also stock pot bedding for hanging baskets and patio containers, including upright and trailing Fuchsias, upright and trailing Geraniums, Bacopa, Nepeta Variegata, trailing Petunias including Surfinias and Calibrachoa, trailing Begonias and trailing Lobelia.
If you’re making your own hanging baskets, we also sell hanging basket packs in different designs, usually including one centrepiece plant and five trailing plants.
