Seasonal Bedding Plants
Bedding plants are an essential part of a colourful garden. We have a full range of popular varieties as well as a few you may not have come across before.
A planting scheme using complementary colours means choosing colours that are on opposite sides of the colour wheel such as orange and blue or yellow and purple. For a harmonious planting scheme choose hues that are next to each other on the colour wheel such as pinks, purples and blues. Using bedding plants the possibilities are endless.
Spring Bedding
We grow Primulas, Polyanthus, Violas and Pansies which are perfect for adding colour to your garden after a long winter.
Summer Bedding
For summer colour you just can’t beat bedding plants, they can be used in a variety of ways; in beds, borders and containers. They can be used in a traditional bedding out scheme or mixed with herbaceous planting for added interest. Many of the bedding plants we grow are sold in mixed or single colours so whether you want to add a riot of colour or to plant in a single colour scheme we have just what you need. Think of the famous White Garden at Sissinghurst, this includes plants such as Pansies, Forget-me-nots, Cosmos and Antirrhinum which are all bedding plants.
